&lt;p&gt;This is a great opportunity to inspire curiosity, teach students about pollinators, and highlight the important role bees play in our ecosystem. No prior teaching experience is required—just a willingness to learn, connect, and share.&lt;/p&gt;

But how can you help?? This hands-on class provides instruction on everything you need to know to perform a "Cut-Out," that is gently removing the bees and comb and properly placing them in a new, manageable, forever home. Students will get hands-on experience performing cut outs, under the supervision of experienced bee rescuers.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This class is designed for second-year+ beekeepers looking to expand their knowledge, who want to delve into the world of bee rescues. Participants must be fully suited and gloved. A hive tool and smoker are recommended. Summer is around the corner, so don't forget your water!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Monthly Meeting (7 Jun 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Long Beach Beekeepers meet on the first Sunday of the month and welcome everyone from the experienced to the novice beekeeper to those just curious about beekeeping.&amp;nbsp;The in-person meeting is open to the general public. Members who opt to attend online will be emailed the meeting link and passcode.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In addition to a guest speaker, meetings feature an opportunity drawing and the ever-popular &lt;strong&gt;Honey of the Month&lt;/strong&gt; tasting, courtesy of &lt;strong&gt;Doug Garrett&lt;/strong&gt; in June. What a sweet deal!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Special thanks to&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;EDCO Recycling &amp;amp; Transfer&lt;/strong&gt; for hosting our meetings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
