dedicated to educating the public on the honey bee’s vital role

encouraging safe, sustainable & responsible beekeeping

Our training philosophy teaches various methods and styles of beekeeping – Langstroth and top bar hives, natural beekeeping and supplemental feeding, etc. – while advocating only responsible beekeeping. Terri Owens-Clark oversees our instructional program.

Terri brings both local and international experience to the craft of beekeeping. She is an Apprentice level member of the California Master Beekeeping Program at University California, Davis and previously earned a Basic Assessment level from the British Beekeepers Association.
