Long Beach Beekeepers is excited to announce another fundraising EXPERIENCE curated for mid-level beekeepers, as-seen at our recent club meeting:

Ready to take your beekeeping skills to the next level? Grab your hive tool, because we have another Long Beach Beekeepers / Bill's Bees collaboration on the horizon! Our first event in late March was a hoot, or a BUZZ, or something like that... Don't miss out on the next episode of "As the Hive Turns." Jeremy Jensen and the Bill's Bees crew invite us to join them for a full day out in the field, pulling honey from a few hundred hives. We will be working in avocado or orange orchards somewhere in the San Fernando Valley (location TBD). Learn the ins-and-outs of pollination gigs, and we'll even have a taste-test to compare a few different varietals. See if you have what it takes to go from your backyard apiary to the fast-paced environment of a commercial operation.

Location: TBD. Carpool options will be offered. Lunch included.

Note: This event is limited to beekeepers with two or more years of experience. It is NOT an entry-level event.

Registration opens April 5 and closes May 29.

ITEMS TO BRING: Beekeeping suit/jacket and gloves (REQUIRED), smoker, sanitized hive tool, and water.

Long Beach Beekeepers is a 501(c)3 organization
