Join us for a honey tasting hosted in the backyard of a private home in the Bluff Park neighborhood of Long Beach!
Learn to discern honey like a pro and indulge your senses through a honey tasting, led by internationally trained honey sommelier Alysa Quitoriano. She will guide you through a sensory adventure, exploring the visual, olfactory, gustatory and textures of various monofloral honeys from Southern California. The registration fee of $35 includes charcuterie and refreshments as vehicles for discovering your favorite pairings. You never know what may enhance or compliment each honey profile.

About Alysa
Alysa began her foray into beekeeping 6 years ago in rural Oklahoma and has since expanded her apiary to the South Bay. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion to teach, mentor, and share her knowledge around bee focused beekeeping. Alysa is certified by the Italian Register of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey as a stage one honey sommelier and is currently enrolled in Cornell University's Master Beekeeping Program.
