Monthly Meeting

Are you ready for the future? Join us in August as we welcome Next Generation Beekeeping, dedicated to applying techniques from a variety of science-based disciplines for high-quality care for bees and other pollinators. Raquel Ramirez and Jessica Webb will talk about the programs at their Little Parrot Farm in La Puente - just a hop, skip and a jump up the road - working side-by-side with native bees and the finer points of bee stings. Ouch!

Long Beach Beekeepers meet on the first Sunday of the month and welcome everyone from the experienced to the novice beekeeper to those just curious about beekeeping. The in-person meeting is open to the general public. Members who opt to attend online will be emailed the meeting link and passcode.

In addition to a guest speaker, meetings feature a Honey of the Month tasting and an opportunity drawing. What a sweet deal!
