Monarch Day of Action & Sustainability (Volunteer Hub)

Volunteers needed at:

Long Beach's Office of Climate Action and Sustainability would like to thank you for dedicating your time to educating our community at Monarch Day of Action. Join us at Willow Springs Park to support our efforts to expand Monarch habitat! Help us create a beautiful home for these butterflies by planting native California Sagebrush, Buckwheat, and Narrowleaf Milkweed. The event will include live music, crafts, restoration and planting activities, and opportunities to engage with local community organizations. We hope to see you there!

Please remember to bring sun protection, close-toed shoes, and a reusable water bottle. A free water refill station will be available for guests to use.

Long Beach Beekeepers Volunteers will:

• Set up a table to educate about the importance of bees as pollinators
