Event invitation from Laguna Beach Water District:
Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 11, from 10 AM to 1 PM, and join us at the Laguna Beach County Water District headquarters for a celebration a century in the making. For 100 years, the District has been delivering safe, reliable water to Laguna Beach, and now we’re throwing open our doors to say thank you.
This family-friendly morning will have something for everyone: fun activities, tasty food, and a chance to meet our newest team member, Dewey the Duck, the District’s playful new mascot. You’ll also connect with local community partners, get a behind-the-scenes look at your water district, and be part of the celebration of this historic milestone.
“This open house is our way of saying thank you to the community we’ve proudly served since 1925,” said Keith Van Der Maaten, general manager. “We look forward to celebrating this milestone together and sharing the story of how water has shaped Laguna Beach over the last 100 years.”
The event is open to all Laguna Beach residents. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate Laguna’s water story with friends and neighbors.
It’s free, it’s fun, and it only happens once every 100 years, don’t miss it!
