Monthly Meeting

Long Beach Beekeepers welcomes Dave Goulson, Professor of Biology at the University of Sussex specializing in bee ecology, as our March speaker. Professor Goulson's Saving Our Insects presentation will cover the importance of insects, the causes of insect decline and what can be done to reverse the trend.

In addition to a guest speaker, meetings feature a Honey of the Month tasting and an opportunity drawing. What a sweet deal! In March our Honey of the Month comes courtesy of club member Inger Nelson.

Long Beach Beekeepers meet on the first Sunday of the month and welcome everyone from the experienced to the novice beekeeper to those just curious about beekeeping. The in-person meeting is open to the general public. Members who opt to attend online will be emailed the meeting link and passcode one day prior to the meeting.
