Share the Buzz—Volunteer at LB City College Child Development Center!

Do you enjoy working with students or have an interest in honey bees and the environment? We’re looking for volunteers to help bring engaging, hands-on bee education to PRESCHOOLERS!

This is a great opportunity to inspire curiosity, teach students about pollinators, and highlight the important role bees play in our ecosystem. No prior teaching experience is required—just a willingness to learn, connect, and share.

  • Help students discover the world of honey bees
  • Support interactive, memorable learning experiences
  • Make a positive impact in your community

If you’re interested in volunteering or would like more details, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Date: Tuesday, June 30
  • Setup: 9:30 AM
  • Event: 10 AM-11 AM
  • Location: LB City College Child Development Center, 1305 Pacific Coast Highway
  • Student count: 40
  • Student Ages: 3-5 year olds
  • Format: 20-30 minute presentation, then 20-30 minutes for looking at observation hive
